Cowgirl Golf Set To Open Spring Portion Of Schedule

STILLWATER- No. 2 Oklahoma State women's golf is set to tee off the spring portion of its season at the Rapsodo in the Desert at Superstition Mountain this weekend.

The eight-team tournament begins on Sunday with 36 holes of action before concluding on Monday with the final 18-hole round at the Lost Gold Golf Course.

Play is set to tee off at noon CT on Sunday with a waterfall start and a 10:00 a.m. CT shotgun start on Monday at the par-72, 6,498-yard layout.

The Cowgirls will compete against Big 12 opponent Kansas in addition to Arizona, Arizona State, Denver, Ole Miss and UCLA.

- No. 2 Oklahoma State won the prestigious East Lake Cup, 3-2-0 against Duke.
- Rina Tatematsu earned the East Lake Cup individual title, her second career individual win as a Cowgirl.
- Three Cowgirls finished in the top-10 and Maddison Hinson-Tolchard posted a career-best finish tied for second place.
- Caley McGinty earned Big 12 Golfer of the Month honors for the month of September after recording an individual title at the Schooner Fall Classic. McGinty boasts two individual titles as a Cowgirl.
- In her nine tournament appearances as a Cowgirl in 2021, Maddison Hinson-Tolchard recorded four top-20 finishes, including tying for 15th place at the NCAA Women's Championship.
- Isabella Fierro earned WGCA Honorable Mention All-American honors in 2021 after recording a 71.23 scoring average and notching seven top-10 finishes last season
- Clemence Martin, a Paris native, was the winner of the 2019 French Ladies Amateur Championship and later represented her country at the European Girls' Team Championship.
- Hailey Jones recorded her first collegiate tournament win at the Dale McNamara Invitational during the fall portion of the schedule. In her seven tournament appearances as a Cowgirl, Jones has a 74.94 scoring average and 3.28-over par.
- Lianna Bailey recorded a 72.68 scoring average during the 2020-21 reason, the eighth best in program history. She entered her senior season with 29 career rounds on par or better.
