Tyler Zink Earns No. 30 Preseason Singles Ranking

Stillwater, Okla. - Oklahoma State junior Tyler Zink found himself ranked among the nation's best and will carry an ITA Preseason ranking of No. 30 into the upcoming season for Cowboy tennis it was announced today.
The recent Georgia transfer recorded a career-high ranking of No. 26 during the 2020-21 season after collecting a double-digit singles win total during his sophomore campaign. His highest recorded win in the SEC came against No. 6 Hady Habib of Texas A&M. As a Bulldog, Zink earned All-America and All-SEC honors.
Zink rounded out the 2021 season at No. 45 in the singles rankings.
He added to an already impressive resume after recently earning a wild card for the main doubles draw at the U.S.Open alongside partner Eliot Spizzirri. The duo fell to the No. 3 seed of Pierre-Hugues Herbet and Nicolas Mahut of France, 6-4, 6-4, in the first round.
