Cowgirl Soccer Match Ruled A No-Contest
September 30, 2021 | Cowgirl Soccer
AMES, Iowa – Due to lightning, Oklahoma State's match against Iowa State tonight at the Cyclone Soccer Complex was halted and ruled a no-contest.
The two teams had played 66:23 before play was stopped, with the Cowgirls leading 1-0 on a goal by Hannah Webb. A match must reach the 70-minute mark to become official.
It is unknown whether the game will be rescheduled as discussion is ongoing regarding that possibility.
Should the two teams reach an agreement to play, the game would start over from the beginning (tonight's match will not be resumed).
