School-Record 5 Cowgirls Selected WGCA All-American Scholars

STILLWATER – The Oklahoma State women's golf team set a new school record with five Cowgirls selected to the Women's Golf Coaches Association All-American Scholars list.
Isabella Fierro and Han-Hsuan Yu earned the WGCA's most prestigious academic honor for the second straight year, while Maddison Hinson-Tolchard, Rina Tatematsu and Maja Stark made their first career appearances on the All-American Scholars list.
The five selections led the Big 12 and topped the 2009 OSU squad of Caroline Hedwall, Amanda Johnson, Karin Kinnerud and Pernilla Lindberg for the most ever by a Cowgirl team. In fact, only Duke (6), Rutgers (6) and Illinois (6) had more All-American Scholar selections among Power 5 schools.
A total of 27 Cowgirls have now been selected for 55 All-American Scholar awards in the history of the program. For OSU head coach Greg Robertson, this marks 20 WGCA All-American Scholars coached during his eight-year career, including eight selections in his two seasons in Stillwater.
Nationwide, a total of 1,432 women's collegiate golfers were recognized with this prestigious honor. The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics thanks to the minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50.
