Cowgirl Equestrian Welcomes Dalia Lehmann

Oklahoma State's Equestrian team has added international Jumping Seat rider Dalia Lehmann to the roster for the upcoming season.
"I'm excited to be a part of this team," Lehmann said. "I'm excited to compete for the team because I love teamwork. I'm excited to get to know the members and build a bond. From the beginning, I noticed OSU focuses on a family atmosphere. For me, when I decide to study so far from home, that is important."
Lehmann, who hails from Poznan, Poland, has been riding for 13 years and boasts honors that include being named the Children European bronze medalist, being a bronze medalist at the indoor Polish Championships in Junior category, claiming a gold medal at the Indoor Polish Championships and a first-place finish in Young Rider's Ranking.Â
"We are thrilled to have Dalia coming all the way from Poland to join the Cowgirl family," said OSU Jumping Seat coach Olivia Dorey. "She has experience riding many different horses and demonstrates leadership qualities that will make her a great asset to this team."
Lehmann, who enjoys playing tennis and golf in her spare time, plans to major in fashion merchandising. Her hype song is "Fighter," her go-to pre-show drink is a Coke Zero and her horse show superstitions include her lucky horse shirt.
