Six Cowboys Earn Academic Honors

Irving, Texas - Seniors Dominik Kellovsky, Mathieu Scaglia and Maxim Tybar as well as junior Emile Hudd and sophomore Etienne Donnet were all named first-team Academic All-Big 12 Men's Tennis selections it was announced today.

Emile Hudd and Maxim Tybar received the distinction for the second year in a row. To be named to the first team, student-athletes must maintain a GPA of 3.20 or higher.

Matej Vocel was the sixth member of the squad to be honored as he was named to the second team, where athletes must maintain a 3.00 to a 3.19 GPA.

The No. 19 Cowboys (9-11 overall, 1-4 Big 12) will be in action on May 8 in the first round of NCAA Regional play.
