Cowboy Tennis Ready For First Road Test

STILLWATER, Okla. — Oklahoma State's men's tennis team will hit the road for the first time this season for a pair of matches this weekend against No. 8 Southern California and Pepperdine.

OSU sports a record of 3-0 so far this season after recording a 4-3 win over Arkansas this last Sunday in Stillwater. The victory over the Razorbacks was the teams' first win with interim head coach Scoville Jenkins at the helm. In the most recent ITA poll, the squad also checked in at No. 14.

The first match of the weekend will come against Southern California on Saturday, Feb. 20 at 3:30 p.m. The last time the two teams met was in 2018, where the Trojans took the match 4-1. Southern California holds a 6-1 advantage in the overall series.

OSU has a quick turnaround to battle it out with Pepperdine Sunday, Feb. 21 at 2 p.m. The Cowboys prevailed the last time they saw the Waves in 2018, 4-0. The Cowboys have won all three previous meetings in the series.
