Cowboy Basketball Earns No. 24 Ranking In Coaches Poll

STILLWATER - Fresh off its win over Arkansas in the Big 12/SEC Challenge, the Oklahoma State basketball team checked in at No. 24 in the USA Today Coaches Poll released on Monday.

The Cowboys (11-4, 4-4) appeared in the top-25 for the first time since their 7-0 start earned them the No. 25 spot in the Coaches Poll on Dec. 2, 2019. This marks the highest Coaches Poll ranking for OSU since they were No. 19 on Feb. 3, 2014.

OSU missed their first Associated Press top-25 ranking since 2015 by a total of six points. The Cowboys garnered 111 points, which was just behind the 117 points for No. 25 Drake.

A regular in both polls throughout its history, this is OSU's 143rd appearance in the Coaches Poll in the Big 12 era. All-time, Oklahoma State has been ranked in the AP Poll for 265 weeks.

The Cowboys will head to Fort Worth, Texas to battle TCU on Wednesday night. Tipoff is slated for 8 p.m. on ESPN2.
