• Oklahoma State's women's basketball team will look to run its winning streak to three in a row when it travels to Houston to face Rice at 2 p.m. on Saturday.
• The Cowgirls are coming off a hard-fought 44-40 win over Missouri State on Wednesday in Stillwater.
• OSU will be looking to win its first two road contests of the year for the second consecutive season after winning its first three road tilts a year ago.
• The Cowgirls have held their three opponents this season to 55 points or less. The last time OSU did so was a four-game stretch in conference play a year ago against Kansas State, Texas and Kansas twice from Jan. 25-Feb. 2.

Scouting The Owls
• Rice is in the midst of a five-game homestand to open its season.
• Ashlee Austin and Katelyn Crossthwait lead the squad at 16,7 points per game.
• The Owls defeated St. Edward's on Nov. 9 before falling to Louisiana on Nov. 13. They bounced back on Wednesday with a win over Texas Southern.
• The Owls went 23-4 a year ago and defeated Ole Miss in the WNIT Championship.

OSU—Rice ... The Series
• OSU and Rice have faced off eight times with the Cowgirls holding an 8-0 mark in the series.
• The Cowgirls won the most recent meeting, 69-38, on Nov. 23, 2019 in Stillwater.
• The last four matchups have all taken place in Stillwater.
• OSU last traveled to Houston to face the Owls on Dec. 3, 1995, a 65-62 Cowgirl win at the Rice Tournament.
• The only other meeting in Houston was the first-ever contest between the two schools on Feb. 9, 1980.

Last Time Out
• The Cowgirls earned their first home win of the year on Wednesday, knocking off Missouri State, 44-40.
• Sophomore Taylen Collins recorded her first career double-double, finishing with 16 points and 11 rebounds.
• OSU held the Lady Bears to two points in the third quarter and 13 in the second half to overcome a 17-point deficit.
