• Oklahoma State's women's basketball team will look to bounce back from its season-opening loss to Colorado on Nov. 10 when it travels to Dallas to face SMU on Sunday at noon.
• The contest marks the beginning of a stretch that will see OSU play just one home game in its next six outings.
• OSU's stretch of five games away from home through in its first seven contests to open the season will be its most since playing six of its first eight away from Gallagher-Iba Arena to start the 2002-03 campaign.
• The Cowgirls will be looking to avoid their first 0-2 start since the 2003-04 campaign.

Scouting SMU
• SMU won its season opener on Nov. 9 against Kansas City, logging a 75-63 victory.
• UMass transfer Danielle Sanderlin led SMU with 20 points, while Florida State transfer Savannah WIlkinson added a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds.
• The Mustangs played just six contests a year ago (0-6) before canceling the remainder of their season due to health and safety concerns surrounding COVID-19.

OSU—SMU ... The Series
• The two programs have met on four occasions with OSU prevailing in three of those contests.
• OSU took last year's meeting, 75-63, on Dec. 7 inside Gallagher-Iba Arena.
• Last year's contest was the first between the two schools since a 1998 meeting in Stillwater.
• The lone meeting in Dallas came in 1997 at the Cotton Bowl Classic and resulted in a 71-56 SMU victory.
• The Mustangs have seven returning letterwinners as well as six transfers and two freshmen on their roster.

Last Time Out
• The Cowgirls lost their season opener on Nov. 10 against Colorado, 55-45, in Stillwater.
• The loss snapped a 15-game winning streak for OSU in home openers.
• The setback also halted OSU's six-game winning streak against its former conference rival.
• The contest was OSU's first opener against a Power 5 school since 2008 when the Cowgirls faced off with Duke.
• The game marked the first in an OSU uniform for N'Yah Boyd, and Chloe Mayer.
• Lauren Fields finished with a game-high 17 points, which was her highest total since scoring a career-high 23 at Kansas on Jan. 30 last season.
