Cowgirl Spring Season Teeing Off at Trinity Forest Invitational

DALLAS, Texas – The Oklahoma State women's golf team will begin their 2021 season on Monday with a title defense at the Trinity Forest Invitational in Dallas, Texas.
The Cowgirls are the reigning champions of the event after breaking the previous event record last year after shooting 866. Isabella Fierro and Hailey Jones both notched top 10 finishes at the invite last year.
The Trinity Forest Invitational will include Big 12 rivals Baylor, Kansas State, Texas and Texas Tech in addition to BYU, Chattanooga, Memphis, Missouri State, Nebraska, SMU, Tulsa, UTSA and Washington.
Lianna Bailey, Maja Stark, Maddison Hinson-Tolchard, Han-Hsuan Yu and Hailey Jones will compete for the Cowgirls.
Bailey will be competing after a record-breaking individual title at the end of the fall season. After finishing with four Cowgirls in the top 10 at the Kissing Tree Invitational, OSU hopes to continue the momentum moving forward into this week's tournament.
Hinson-Tolchard will make her debut as a Cowgirl. Prior to arriving at OSU, she has logged two wins and 13 top-10 finished at international competitions over the last two years.
The event begins on Monday morning at the Trinity Forest Golf Club in Dallas. Teams will compete as fivesomes with their own teammates.
