July 15, 2020 | Cowboy Basketball
STILLWATER – The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) named Oklahoma State graduates Trey Reeves and Thomas Dziagwa to the 2019-20 Honors Court for their classroom accolades.
Reeves and Dziagwa were two of just seven Big 12 student-athletes to earn the honor, and the Cowboys joined West Virginia as the only teams in the league with multiple representatives.
Over 1,350 student-athletes from across all levels of college basketball were named to the Honors Court. To be selected, a student-athlete must be a junior or a senior with at least a 3.2 cumulative GPA.
Reeves graduated in December with a degree in accounting and a perfect 4.0 GPA, and was named the recipient of the prestigious Dr. Prentice Gautt Postgraduate Scholarship. He earned the 2019 Dr. Gerald Lage Academic Achievement Award - the Big 12's highest academic honor - was a two-time first-team Academic All-Big 12 selection and a 2017 Academic All-Big 12 Rookie Team member.
Reeves was one of just 16 members of his OSU graduating class to earn Outstanding Senior honors, and was one of 41 OSU Alumni Association Seniors of Significance. He is currently working on his Master of Science in accounting at Oklahoma State.
Dziagwa is a two-time first-team Academic All-Big 12 selection, and graduated in May with a degree in Liberal Studies. He finished his career ranked fourth in school history with 251 3-pointers, and his career 3-point percentage of 41.1 is the eighth best in program history. He is one of just five Cowboys during the Big 12 era to win in every conference road venue.
The Cowboys are slated to open the 2020-21 season against Green Bay on Nov. 10 in Gallagher-Iba Arena. Season tickets are on sale now and start at just $150. Visit okstate.com/tickets or call 877-ALL-4-OSU for more info.
