Cowboy Legend Tony Allen To Join OSU Senior Day Festivities
February 26, 2020 | Cowboy Basketball
STILLWATER – The Oklahoma State basketball program will celebrate its six seniors with a special pregame senior-day presentation that will include Cowboy legend Tony Allen at Saturday's game against Iowa State.
Senior captains Lindy Waters III, Cameron McGriff and Thomas Dziagwa will be joined by Trey Reeves, Jonathan Laurent and J.K. Hadlock in a ceremony honoring their careers and commitment to Oklahoma State over the last four years.
A 2004 All-American at OSU, Allen helped the Cowboys win the 2004 Big 12 regular season and tournament championships en route to the program's sixth Final Four. Allen would go on to play 14 seasons in the NBA and earn six All-Defensive Team honors as well as the 2008 NBA championship with the Boston Celtics.
Allen will help honor the 2020 senior class, which has combined for 420 appearances in a Cowboy uniform, 3,265 points and 513 3-pointers. In the last four seasons, Oklahoma State took down nine ranked opponents, advanced to the NCAA Tournament in 2017 and made a run in the 2018 NIT.
The senior day ceremonies are being held on Saturday to accommodate the families of players who are traveling from out of state. Saturday's game is slated for 3 p.m. on ESPNU, while OSU's final regular season home game will tipoff on Wednesday, March 4 against Kansas State.
Tickets for both of OSU's final home games are available at okstate.com/tickets or by calling the OSU Ticket Office at 877-ALL-4-OSU.
