The Basics
-Â The No. 20 Oklahoma State Cowboys are travelling to Oxford, Miss. to compete against No. 22 Ole Miss and Memphis on Friday Jan. 31and Saturday, Feb. 1.Â
- The Cowboys are 4-1 after playing in the ITA Kickoff against No. 18 Columbia and No. 25 Arizona State. OSU lost in the first round of the kickoff to No. 18 Columbia but turned around and defeated No. 25 Arizona State in a competitive matchup in the championship.
- The Cowboys fell in the latest ITA rankings to put themselves at No. 20 in the country after the initial loss to Columbia, who is now No. 13 in the nation.
- Oklahoma State started the season with three consecutive wins against San Diego State, Lamar and Bryant.Â
- The Cowboys had a successful fall season starting with a win at the Silverado Invitational in Napa, Calif. in September. Mathieu Scaglia, Emile Hudd, Luke Hammond and Brady Draheim represented OSU in the tournament.Â
- The dynamic duo of No. 1 Matej Vocel and Dominik Kellovsky collected its first tournament win of the fall at the Arkansas Futures event in September. The most impressive win of the fall came when Vocel and Kellovsky defeated John McNally and Robert Cash of Ohio State in the finals of the 2019 ITA National Fall Championships, which earned them their No. 1 spot in the ITA rankings.

Last Time Out
- The ITA Kickoff started out with a loss against No. 18 Columbia in an unfortunate sweep, 4-0. Columbia has the No. 3 doubles team in the nation, and the No. 6 ,73 and 79 singles players in the nation.
- This pushed Oklahoma State into the consolation match of the ITA Kickoff where they would face off against No. 25 Arizona State.
- It took all seven team points for Oklahoma State to defeat the Sun Devils. No. 91 Dominik Kellovsky, who moved up to court one in singles against ASU while Matej Vocel was sick, defeated No. 99 Makey Rakotomalala, 6-4, 6-2.
- The two Cowboy freshmen, Oscar Moraing and Etienne Donnet also picked up singles wins for the Cowboys. The match-clinching win came in a clutch performance from No. 87 Emile Hudd, who defeated Andrea Bolla, 6-3, 6-7(9), 6-3. OSU lost the doubles point to Arizona State to start the match.

A Look at No. 22 Ole Miss
- The Cowboys are 2-6 all time against the Ole Miss Rebels. Their most recent win came last year when the two teams met in the first round of the NCAA Championship. Ole Miss was ranked No. 32 in the nation at the time, but the Cowboys pulled out a spectacular 4-1 win.Â
- The Rebels and the Cowboys also met in Stillwater in February last year when the then-No. 20 Cowboys fell to Ole Miss, 4-3.Â
- Tim Sandkaulen is ranked No. 35 in the nation in individual rankings. Sandkaulen and Matej Vocel faced off against one another in February when Sankaulen won, 6-0, 6-2. The two also faced off in during the NCAA Championships, but play was stopped in the second set of that match.
- Ole Miss is currently 5-1 on the season with wins coming against North Alabama (twice), Belmont, Jackson State and No. 12 Illinois. The only loss of the season for the Rebels came at the hands of No. 20 Michigan at the ITA Kickoff last weekend in Illinois.

A Look at Memphis
- Memphis and Oklahoma State have met 11 times in the programs' histories. The Cowboys hold a commanding 9-2 lead, which includes their 4-2 win over the Tigers in 2019. The last Memphis win came in 2018 when the Tigers swept the Cowboys, 4-0. Head coach Jay Udwadia is 4-1 against the Tigers as the Cowboys' coach.
- Memphis has struggled out of the gates early this season with a 1-3 record to start the year. The Tigers lost three consecutive matches to Indiana, Northwestern and then Virginia in the first round of the ITA Kickoff weekend. In the consolation match, Memphis defeated Utah State, 4-0, for its first win of the season.
- The Tigers have one doubles team ranked in the ITA doubles rankings with David Stevenson and Oscar Cutting coming in at No. 21.Â

- OSU has won at least 15 matches in six consecutive seasons under head coach Jay Udwadia, which includes 16 wins in the 2018-19 season. Four times during that stretch, OSU has hit the 20-win mark, winning 21 in 2014, 20 in 2016, 22 in 2017 and 20 in 2018.
- In the 2020 regular season alone, the Cowboys are set to face off against eight of the top 25 teams in the country: Texas (1), Baylor (5) Wake Forest (7), TCU (8), Texas A&M (9), California (15),  Tennessee (T16) and Michigan (T16)
- The Cowboys logged their sixth-straight NCAA Championship appearance last season but fell in the second round to No. 11 UCLA.
