Vivian Gray Named Big 12 Player of the Week

IRVING, Texas – Oklahoma State's Vivian Gray has been named the Big 12 Player of the Week as selected by a five-person media panel it was announced today by the league office.

The distinction was Gray's first of the season and the second of her career. She shared the weekly award with Iowa State's Ashley Joens.

Gray averaged 23.0 points, 7.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists in games against West Virginia and Texas last week while playing 40 minutes in both contests. The Argyle, Texas native led OSU to its first win over a ranked opponent this season and its first top-25 road win since 2018 with 22 points, eight rebounds and five assists in the 57-55 victory at No. 25 West Virginia.

Against Texas on Sunday, Gray scored 34 points, pulled six rebounds and had three assists. She has now logged 20-point performances in eight of her last 10 outings and has scored in double figures in 44 consecutive games.
