Cowboy Tennis Moves Up To No. 14 In Latest ITA Rankings

STILLWATER – The Oklahoma State men's tennis team moved up one spot to No. 14 in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association's newest rankings released by the ITA on Wednesday. This is the first set of rankings released by the ITA since the start of the spring season.
Oklahoma State finds itself with an undefeated record of 3-0 after its opening two weekends of matches. OSU has swept all three opponents it has faced in San Diego State, Lamar and Bryant. The perfect record has moved the Cowboys up one spot from its preseason ranking of No. 15 to begin the season.
The No. 14 Cowboys will now travel to Knoxville, Tenn. to compete in the ITA Kickoff. OSU is set to face Columbia, who is ranked No. 18 in the country, in the first round of the tournament on Saturday, Jan. 25. The ITA Kickoff will determine who competes in the National Team Indoor Championships in February.
In the 2020 regular season alone, the Cowboys are set to face off against 11 of the top 25 teams in the country: Texas (1), Baylor (5) Wake Forest (7), TCU (8), Texas A&M (9), California (13), Tennessee (16), Michigan (20), Oklahoma (22), San Diego (24) and Arizona State (25).
