Cowgirls Grind Out Road Win At K-State, 70-63

MANHATTAN, Kan. — Oklahoma State's women's basketball team held on down the stretch for a 70-63 win at Kansas State on Wednesday night in front of 3,346 fans inside Bramlage Coliseum.
The Cowgirls improved to 11-5 overall and 2-2 in Big 12 play with the win and gave head coach Jim Littell the 800th win of his coaching career. Additionally, the win was OSU's first in Manhattan since 2014.
OSU took an 18-16 lead through the first 10 minutes. K-State moved in front with a 4-0 run in the second before junior Vivian Gray's board and bucket put OSU back in front by a 29-23 count. Classmate extended the margin to double figures at 37-27 with 1:24 remaining in the half before the Cowgirls took a 39-31 lead at the break.
In the third, Gray hit back-to-back treys to push the margin to 57-42 with 28 ticks on the clock. However, the Wildcats would battle back in the fourth with an 11-1 run to cut the margin to six.
K-State would get within four with 1:54 to go before Gray hit a jumper and got a steal at the other end to thwart the rally.
Gray finished with 23 points, six rebounds and four assists, while Mack had 24 points, eight boards, seven blocks and five steals. Sophomore Ja'Mee Asberry added 14 points in the win.
