Cowgirl Golf In 13th Place With 18 Holes To Play In Phoenix

PHOENIX, Ariz. – The Oklahoma State women's golf team will enter the final 18 holes of the PING/ASU Invitational in 13th place.
Taking on 10 teams ranked 34th or better in the GolfStat.com rankings, the Cowgirls shot a second round 16-over 304 to fall two spots on the leaderboard at the Papago Golf Course in Phoenix. No. 4 Stanford is the leader after 36 holes at 5-under 571. Stanford's Andrea Lee continues to lead all individuals at 7-under 137.
Cowgirl Lianna Bailey will enter Sunday's final round in a tie for 20th place after a three-birdie Saturday. The freshman is at 2-over 146 after 36 holes.
Emma Whitaker followed up her opening round 3-over 75 with another 3-over 75, and is in a tie for 46th place. Michelle Forsland, Chih-Min Chen and Sara Camarena are all tied for 62nd, while Han-Hsuan Yu is tied for 76th place.
The Cowgirls will wrap up play at the PING/ASU Invitational on Sunday morning.
