Cowgirls Eliminate TCU, Advance to Round Three

STILLWATER – Oklahoma State's second-seeded equestrian team defeated TCU on Saturday morning, 13-7, at the Big 12 Championship to advance to round three at Totusek Arena.
OSU entered the day with a 9-1 lead on the Horned Frogs, which carried over from Friday.
OSU's lone point in Equitation Over Fences came from Abigail Brayman. Brayman's victories on Friday (Flat) and Saturday (Fences) improved her career record at the Big 12 Championship to 6-0, a team high.
The Cowgirls entered Horsemanship with a 10-5 lead and received victories from Sarah Miller, Natalie Alcorn and Maddie Bender. Miller, a team captain, recorded her career-best score at the event with a 151.
Alcorn notched her seventh win of the season and has won five of her last six matchups. Bender improved her career record to 3-2 at her third Big 12 Championship.
OSU returns to action in round three at 1 p.m. today against Baylor inside Totusek Arena.
