 The third-ranked Cowgirl equestrian team hosts the Big 12 Equestrian Championship on Friday and Saturday, No. 7 TCU and No. 4 Baylor visit Totusek Arena to compete in the two-day event.

About The Cowgirls
 The Cowgirls (6-5, 2-2 Big 12) are led by 20th-year head coach Larry Sanchez, fourth-year assistant coach Jenna Blumer, fourth-year assistant coach Sammy Elser and second-year director of operations Kate Pollard. Carly Barrick also joined the staff as a first-year graduate assistant.

Who To Watch For
•  Abigail Brayman: A returning All-American in Flat, Brayman has won her last three Flat matchups, including an MOP against South Dakota State. Brayman also holds a 6-4-1 record in Fences with three MOP honors.
•  Stephanie Helsen: A sophomore who has won eight of her past nine matchups in Reining, including an MOP against South Dakota State. Helsen has not lost by more than one point this season.
•  Harley Huff: A returning All-American in Horsemanship who went 6-1 in OSU's seven road meets, five of which were against top-10 opponents. Last season, Huff collected a team-high eight MOPs.
•  Hannah Janson: A junior who has won four of her past five Fences matchups and three of her past four Flat matchups.
•  Hannah Mitchell: A team captain recently named NCEA Reining Rider of the Month for March. Mitchell is a returning All-American who is 7-3-1 in the Reining arena with four MOPs. In 2017, she was the NCEA Reining Rider of the Year.
•  Sarah Miller: A team captain recently named NCEA Horsemanship Rider of the Month for March. Miller has won eight of her last nine matchups. Miller earned an MOP for her season-high 76.5 against South Dakota State on March 2.

Riders Of The Month
 Abigail Brayman and Hannah Mitchell earned Rider of the Month honors from the NCEA and Big 12 Conference for October. Brayman won the EquiFit Equitation Over Fences Rider of the Month award after going 3-0 and setting a new career high with a score of 90 at Auburn. Mitchell collected Shorty's Reining Rider of the Month award. Mitchell also went undefeated in the month of October, going 3-0.
 Hannah Janson won the Equitation Over Fences Rider of the Month award in November. It was Janson's second Big 12 Rider of the Month award, with her first coming in November of 2017.
 Katie Schell won the Equitation Over Fences Rider of the Month for February. Schell set her season high at fifth-ranked Baylor with an 86. She never scored below an 80 in February, winning her other points, 85-83, and 80-79. It was Schell's first Big 12 Rider of the Month honor.
 Team captains Sarah Miller and Hannah Mitchell earned NCEA Rider of the Month honors for March. Miller won Shorty's Horsemanship Rider of the Month after posting a 3-0 record with one MOP in March. The senior had an average score of 76.1 throughout March and outscored her opponents by an average of five points.
