LAWRENCE, KANSAS— The Oklahoma State men's basketball team fell to Kansas, 84-72, on Saturday inside of Allen Fieldhouse.

Cameron McGriff scored more than 20 points for the second straight game in Allen Fieldhouse. He finished the game with 22 points and six rebounds. He was 7 of 14 from the floor, including two 3-point makes.

In last year's upset over Kansas in Lawrence, McGriff scored 20 points and grabbed nine rebounds in a breakout performance.

The Cowboys (9-14, 2-8 Big 12) matched Kansas (18-6, 7-4) for most of the game and were tied with the Jayhawks with 14:08 remaining in the game. From that point, Kansas went on a 19-4 run to take control of the game. The Jayhawk lead grew to as many as 17, but OSU never gave up and cut the lead to 12 with two minutes remaining.

Thomas Dziagwa, Isaac Likekele and Lindy Waters III also scored in double figures for OSU.

Dziagwa made three 3-pointers and collected five rebounds, which is one away from his career-high mark in rebounds. He ended the game with 11 points.

Likekele impressed in his Allen Fieldhouse debut, scoring 14 points. He added six assists and five rebounds. The freshman also only turned the ball over twice.

Waters III knocked down three shots from beyond the arc, helping his point total reach 13 points. He also knocked down two free-throws. He came into Saturday's contest as the nation's leader in free-throw percentage.

The Cowboys managed to score 10 points off of Kansas' turnovers and created eight turnovers themselves.
