Hudd, Tybar Climb in ITA Doubles Ranks

STILLWATER – Oklahoma State doubles tandem Emile Hudd and Maxim Tybar moved up to No. 29 in the latest Oracle/ITA Doubles Rankings that were announced Wednesday.
The pair hold a 5-0 overall record, and have competed three times together during the dual season, all ending unfinished.
The duo won the ITA Central Regional doubles championship in October where they recorded all five of their wins. They are the only doubles tandem on the team to hoist an undefeated record (minimum 2 matches).
Hudd, a freshman from London, currently posts a 14-4 overall doubles record this year, including a 10-2 fall tournament record.
After missing the 2018 dual season because of injury, Tybar went 8-3 in fall doubles play this year and holds a 17-11 overall doubles record during his career with the Cowboys.
In team rankings, Oklahoma State fell out of the top 25 for the first time since the 2016 preseason.
The Cowboys will look to get back to their winning ways when they travel to Northwestern Thursday night at 6 p.m.
