The Basics
The sixth-ranked Cowgirl equestrian team travels to Delaware for two meets this weekend. OSU competes against Delaware State and South Dakota State at 10 a.m. Friday and Saturday at the Delaware State Fairgrounds.The Basics
About The Cowgirls
The Cowgirls (4-5, 2-2 Big 12) are led by 20th-year head coach Larry Sanchez, fourth-year assistant coach Jenna Blumer, fourth-year assistant coach Sammy Elser and second-year director of operations Kate Pollard. Carly Barrick also joined the staff as a first-year graduate assistant.About The Hornets and Jackrabbits

The Series
The Cowgirls currently hold a 5-0 record over DSU and a 4-1 advantage over SDSU. Who To Watch For
• Abigail Brayman: A returning All-American in Flat. Brayman owns a 6-2-1 record in Fences with three MOP honors.• Harley Huff: A returning All-American in Horsemanship who went 4-1 in OSU's five road meets, all of which were against top-10 teams. Last season, Huff collected a team-high eight MOPs.
• Hannah Janson: A junior who's won four of her last five Fences compeititions. Janson earned MOP honors in Fences this past Saturday against TCU.
• Hannah Mitchell: A team captain and returning All-American who is 5-3-1 in the Reining arena. In 2017, she was the NCEA Reining Rider of the Year.
• Katie Pelzel: A freshman who is 3-0 on the year after being inserted into the starting Flat lineup at Baylor. She's recorded scores of 83, 84 and 80.
Reining In The New Year
Oklahoma State's Reining team is ranked No. 2 in the nation and defeated TCU's squad, 3-2, last weekend. The Reining team is 6-3 and led by team captain Hannah Mitchell. Stephanie Helsen is 6-3 on the year, Kristi Wiggins is 5-3-1 and Hunter De Jane is 5-4.Riders Of The Month
Abigail Brayman and Hannah Mitchell earned Rider of the Month honors from the NCEA and Big 12 Conference for October. Brayman won the EquiFit Equitation Over Fences Rider of the Month award and was a Big 12 ROM after going 3-0 and setting a new career high with a score of 90 at Auburn. Brayman's 90 took home Fences MOP honors against the top-ranked Tigers on the road. Mitchell collected Shorty's Reining Rider of the Month award, as well as the Big 12's. Mitchell also went undefeated in the month of October, going 3-0.Hannah Janson won the Equitation Over Fences Rider of the Month award in November after going 2-0 with wins against West Texas A&M and No. 7 TCU. The junior set a new career high with her score of 89 against West Texas A&M on Nov. 10. She defeated TCU's Wynne Weatherly, 74-72, on Nov. 2. This is Janson's second Big 12 Rider of the Month award, with her first coming in November of 2017.
Get Ziggy With It
• Sydnie Ziegler impressed at her first collegiate equestrian competition in College Station, Texas. The freshman earned two points, one in fences and the other in flat, against Texas A&M.• Ziegler shined again in her first meet at Totusek Arena. She earned Equitation over Fences MOP honors against Baylor with a score of 85, good for her career high.
• She finished the fall season with a record of 5-1 in Fences, the most wins by any freshman in the Big 12.
