• Oklahoma State's women's basketball team will get its regular season underway on Tuesday at 7 p.m. when it hosts Idaho inside Gallagher-Iba Arena.
• The Cowgirls are in their ninth season under the direction of head coach Jim Littell.
• Littell enters the year 11 victories shy of 800 for his coaching career.
• The Cowgirls received one vote in the preseason USA Today Coaches Poll.
• Seven Cowgirls are expected to suit up for the first time in an OSU uniform. Micah Dennis, Natasha Mack, Bigue Sarr, Bailey Golden, Lauren Fields, Kennedi Jackson and Sara Rodrigues could all see their first action in a Cowgirl uniform.
