Vocel And Kellovsky Earn No. 1 Ranking In Final Fall ITA Poll

STILLWATER – Matej Vocel and Dominik Kellovsky were named the No. 1 doubles team in the country in the final fall ITA national rankings. Emile Hudd and Luke Hammond also make appearances in the singles and doubles rankings.
Vocel and Kellovsky finished the fall season with a national title at the ITA Fall National Championships in Newport Beach, Calif. The top-ranked Cowboy duo entered the fall season ranked No. 18 in the country and logged two wins over top-50 doubles teams in the country during its championship run. This is the second time in recent history that a Cowboy duo has been ranked No. 1 in the country with Arjun Kadhe and Julian Cash being the other.
Luke Hammond and Emile Hudd also make appearances in the national rankings at No. 19. Hudd appeared in the preseason rankings at No. 39 in doubles with partner Mathieu Scaglia. This is the first time the pairing of Hammond and Hudd have received a top-60 ranking together.
Three Cowboys earned individual honors in the singles rankings. Vocel is the highest-rated individual Cowboy at No. 41, which is a dropoff from his previous ranking of No. 19 in the preseason poll.
Two Cowboys made first-time appearances on the rankings in Emile Hudd and Dominik Kellovsky. Hudd comes in at No. 87, while Kellovsky climbs up to No. 91 in the final fall ITA rankings.
The OSU men's tennis team will get its spring season started in January when it goes up against Lamar and Bryant in Stillwater.
