Kellovsky And Vocel End Respective Arkansas Futures Runs In Quarterfinals

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Dominik Kellovsky and No. 19 Matej Vocel continued play in the singles main draw of the Arkansas Futures event in Fayetteville, Ark. on Friday with both Cowboys falling in the quarterfinals of the tournament.
Vocel lost to the third seed in the tournament, Nicolas Mejia from Columbia, 7-6(5), 6-4. Kellovsky lost his match in straight sets to Aleksandar Kovacevic, 6-3, 6-4. Kellovsky was slated to play in the ITA Regional Championships in Norman, Okla. on Friday but withdrew to compete in the quarterfinals of this tournament.
The rest of the Oklahoma State men's tennis team are currently competing in the ITA Regional Championships. Vocel and Kellovsky will have a chance to resume play again in the ITA National Fall Championships on November 6 in Newport Beach, Calif.
