January 23, 2019 | Cowboy Tennis
STILLWATER – Oklahoma State's men's tennis team rose one spot to No. 20 in the latest Oracle/ITA rankings, which were revealed Wednesday afternoon.
The ranking marks the 53rd consecutive week that the Cowboys have been ranked in the top 25. The last time OSU was not in the ITA's top 25 was in the 2016 preseason rankings.
Oklahoma State is currently 3-0 after its opening weekend of dual matches, which saw the Cowboys beat Omaha, Creighton and Arkansas by a combined 20-1 score. OSU's opening-weekend dominance included an 18-0 mark by Cowboy competitors in singles action.
The Pokes travel to Fort Worth, Texas this weekend for the ITA Kick-Off, where they'll face Arizona State and either Loyola Marymount or No. 22 TCU. Arizona State was ranked in the top 25 before the Sun Devils lost to Duke and No. 1 Wake Forest last week.
The Pokes face the Sun Devils Saturday at 2 pm. For live match updates and more information on the team, follow @CowboyTennis on Twitter.
