The Cowgirls look to bounce back after a loss to a talented No.4 Duke team in the Bahamas a week ago. The Blue Devils took the doubles point, but seniors Marina Guinart and Sofia Blanco picked up singles wins for OSU. The Cowgirls return to the courts this weekend in bouts with Tulsa and Wyoming. Tulsa upset the women in the second round of the NCAA tournament last season, and enters the spring ranked No. 22. The Michael and Anne Greenwood Tennis Center plays host to Wyoming on Sunday, Jan. 20, when the Cowgirls open home play with Wyoming. The Wyoming Cowgirls lost in a sweep to the Golden Hurricane last weekend.Â

The Cowgirls return three seniors who helped lead OSU to the second round of the NCAA Tournament last spring, each playing a key role in the team's success. The tournament appearance marked the seventh straight and fourth consecutive year hosting. It was also the fourth-straight year that the Cowgirls notched 20 wins in a season. They ended the season ranked No. 8 and finished second in the Big 12, stretching their streak of weeks in the ITA top 25 to 74.Â
