Cowboys Finish Play at Silverado Invitational, Dubinski Advances at F24

STILLWATER, Okla. – Oklahoma State's men's tennis team finished competition at the Silverado Invitational in Napa, Calif., on Sunday.

The Cowboys competed against Pepperdine in doubles play and Hawaii in singles.

In doubles action, the tandem of sophomores Maxim Tybar and Luke Hammond defeated Pepperdine's Matias Sborowitz and Enrique Luque Rico, 8-7 (7). Freshman Emile Hudd and sophomore Brady Draheim beat Pawel Jankowiak and Scotland Garapedian of Pepperdine, 8-1.

In singles play, Maxim Tybar bested Hawaii's Blaz Seric, 6-1, 7-6 (4), while Emile Hudd defeated Andre Ilagan of Hawaii, 3-6, 6-4, 6-4.Â

Brady Draheim dropped his match to Hawaii's Lucas Labrunie, 3-6, 6-2, 6-1, and Luke Hammond did not play singles on Sunday.

In Claremont Calif., senior Artur Dubinski defeated Haitong Xia of China to advance to the fourth round of the Qualifying Draw of the USA Futures F24 tournament.
Â
Dubinski beat Xia in straight sets, 6-2, 6-2, and has won each of his three matches at the F24 tournament in straight sets.

Dubinski is back in action Monday morning where he will face either Jack Davis of Canada or Yecong Mo of China.Â
