Cowgirl Basketball Announces League Slate For Upcoming Season

STILLWATER, Okla. — Oklahoma State's women's basketball team has announced the league portion of its 2018-19 schedule with the league office revealing its composite conference schedule today.
The conference slate features a double round robin format for the seventh-consecutive year consisting of 18 games with squads playing each other twice. The team(s) that finishes with the highest winning percentage in league games will be crowned the Big 12 regular season champion.
The Cowgirls, who finished with a 21-11 mark and reached the second round of the NCAA Championship a year ago, will open league play on Jan. 2 at Texas before returning home to take on TCU on Jan. 5.
After a Jan. 9 road contest at West Virginia, the Cowgirls will return home to face Texas Tech on Jan. 12.
Road games at Kansas (Jan. 19) and at Kansas State (Jan. 23) will precede a two-game homestand against Iowa State (Jan. 26) and Baylor (Jan. 30).
OSU will travel to Fort Worth to face TCU on Feb. 2 before hosting the first installment of the Bedlam Series against Oklahoma on Feb. 6.
Head coach Jim Littell's squad will face Texas Tech in Lubbock on Feb. 9 before hosting Texas on Feb. 12. After a road tilt against Iowa State on Feb. 16, the Cowgirls will host a pair of games at home, taking on West Virginia (Feb. 20) and Kansas (Feb. 23).
OSU will head south to face Oklahoma on Feb. 25 before closing out its road slate at Baylor on March 2.
A home date with Kansas State on March 4 will wrap up the regular season.
Oklahoma City's Chesapeake Energy Arena will host the 2019 Phillips 66 Big 12 Women's Basketball Championship for the seventh time. The annual tournament is set for March 8-11.
Dates may be adjusted after the television schedule is released.
