Rioux and Stresnakova Make Qualifying Draw

PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif. – Katie Stresnakova and Lisa Marie Roiux are set to join Cowgirl teammate Marina Guinart in the qualifying draw at the ITA All-American Championships.
Stresnakova bested Mississippi State's Marissa Rentouli in a 6-1, 6-1 match to advance to play on Tuesday.
Redshirt sophomore Rioux also advanced to the qualifying draw after defeating Ilze Hattingh (Arizona State), 6-4, 7-6(4).
The Cowgirls begin play again on Tuesday in California, starting with Stresnakova and Illinois' Jaclyn Switkes. Rioux takes on Rianna Valdes (USC) and Guinart matches up with 13-seeded Felicity Maltby (Texas Tech).
