Cowboys Begin Play at Tulsa ITA All-American Championships

TULSA, Okla. – Oklahoma State sophomores Luke Hammond and Brady Draheim, along with freshman Emile Hudd began play at the ITA All-American Championships this weekend at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center.

In the pre-qualifying first round, Brady Draheim defeated Kevin Lam of Texas A&M, 6-4, 1-6, 6-2. In the second round, Draheim fell to Indiana's Bennett Crane, 6-2, 6-2.

Hudd and Hammond both dropped their first-round matches in the pre-qualifying bracket. Hudd fell to Brandon Laubser of Auburn, 6-3, 3-6, 6-4, while Hammond lost to Salvador Mijaries of Southern Utah, 7-6(9), 7-6(4).

Hudd and Hammond are back in action Sunday at 9:30 a.m. in the pre-qualifying consolation bracket.
