Scaglia Moves on to Cajun Classic Championship

LAFAYETTE, La. – Oklahoma State junior Mathieu Scaglia defeated Texas' Rodrigo Banzer, 3-6, 6-1, 7-6(3), to move on to the Louisiana John Breaux Cajun Tennis Classic championship.
Scaglia is set to face another Texas Longhorn, Leonardo Telles, in the tournament final on Sunday.
In the consolation bracket, sophomore Maxim Tybar fell to Texas Tech's Ilgiz Valiev, 6-1, 7-5. Tybar will face LSU's Malik Bhatnagar in the consolation draw, Sunday.
Scaglia and Tybar teamed up to face Malik Bhatnagar and Shane Monroe of LSU in doubles play, but the LSU tandem won, 8-6.
