August 02, 2018 | Cowgirl Basketball
STILLWATER – Oklahoma State's women's basketball team has unveiled the non-conference portion of its schedule, an 11-game slate featuring nine home games.
The Cowgirls, who finished 21-11 and reached the second round of the NCAA tournament a year ago, will play their lone exhibition game on October 28 when they play host to Northeastern (Okla.) State.
A four-game homestand will tip off the season with head coach Jim Littell's squad welcoming Arkansas State (Nov. 9), UC Riverside (Nov. 11), Prairie View A&M (Nov. 15) and Samford (Nov. 21) to Stillwater.
OSU's first road test will come on Nov. 27 when it travels up I-35 to face Wichita State.
The Cowgirls will return home to close out the month on Nov. 30 against Texas State before welcoming perennial powerhouse Tennessee to Stillwater for the first time on Dec. 2 as part of the SEC/Big 12 Challenge.
After a home date with Houston Baptist on Dec. 9, the Cowgirls will head west to take on UCLA in Los Angeles on Dec. 16. Last year, the Cowgirls knocked off the then-No. 7 Bruins, 87-72, in Stillwater.
On Dec. 21, OSU will take on Oral Roberts in Stillwater. The matchup marks the first time the in-state foes have squared off since 2015.
The Cowgirls will close out their non-league schedule on Dec. 30 when Grambling State comes to town.
