The Oklahoma State basketball team is taking the trip of a lifetime!
The Cowboys are bound for Venice, Rome and Athens on a 10-day European tour that will feature three games against international competition as well as numerous educational and teambuilding activities.
OSU has spent the summer working hard in preparation for the trip, which will include a gondola ride in Venice, a tour of the Colosseum in Rome and a visit to ancient Greek sites in Athens. Here's what the Cowboys will be up to …
Cowboy Basketball European Tour Itinerary
Aug. 4 – Leave Stillwater and fly overnight to Venice
Aug. 5 – Arrive in Venice and take a boat to hotel / Welcome Dinner
Aug. 6 – Gondola tour of Venice / Glassblowing Tour
Aug. 7 – Game No. 1 (Italian National "B" Team) at 1 p.m. CT
Aug. 8 – High-speed train to Rome / Guided tour of Vatican City
Aug. 9 – Tour the Colosseum & Pantheon / Game No. 2 (Netherlands National "B" Team) at 1 p.m. CT
Aug. 10 – Morning flight to Athens / Walking tour of historic Athens
Aug. 11 – Tour of the Acropolis & Parthenon / Game No. 3 (Greek All-Stars) at Noon CT
Aug. 12 – Saronic Gulf Cruise to visit Hydra, Poros and Aegina Islands
Aug. 13 – Beach time at Akanthus / Farwell dinner
Aug. 14 – Return to Stillwater
