Cowgirl Golf Holds Six-Stroke Lead With 18 To Play In Tulsa

TULSA, Okla. – After 36 holes of play, the Oklahoma State women's golf team holds a six-stroke lead over Texas A&M with one round remaining at the Dale McNamara Invitational at the Tulsa Country Club.

The Cowgirls are vying for their second Dale McNamara Invitational title, and their first since 2011. OSU will tee off the final round on Tuesday at 8:30 a.m.

Senior Emma Broze led the Cowgirls with a score of 1-over par 141 and will enter Tuesday's final round tied for first place. Broze knocked in three birdies and didn't record a single bogey in her second round.

Senior Kenzie Neisen and freshman Stephanie Astrup both carded a 4-over par 144 and are tied for sixth place. Neisen posted par on 28 of the 36 holes, which is one off the tournament high, while Astrup's seven birdies are tied for second most.

Junior Chih-Min Chen carded a 10-over 150 and will go into Tuesday's final round tied for 21st place. Senior Alexis Sadeghy is tied for 30th place on the leaderboard at 12-over par.

Competing as an individual, freshman Emma Whitaker shot 15-over par and is tied for 39th on the leaderboard.
