Cowgirl Golf Earns Dale McNamara Invitational Title

TULSA, Okla. – The Oklahoma State women's golf team outdueled Texas A&M for a wire-to-wire victory at the Dale McNamara Invitational at the Tulsa Country Club.
This is the second tournament championship for the Cowgirls this season, and marks the 92nd all-time event title in program history. This is OSU's second win at the Dale McNamara Invitational after also winning in 2011.
Seniors Kenzie Neisen and Emma Broze paved the way for the Cowgirls by finishing in a tie for second place with Texas State's Sasikarn Somboonsup at 4-over 214. Neisen carded an even par 70 over her last 18 holes, while Broze's bogey-free 3-under 67 on Monday afternoon helped her earn medalist honors.
Junior Chih-Min Chen and freshman Stephanie Astrup both shot 5-over par to wrap up their final day. Astrup finished in 11th place and Chen finished tied for 20th place on the leaderboard.
Alexis Sadeghy placed 30th after her final round and scored 6-over par on the day.
Playing as an individual, Emma Whitaker placed tied 33rd on the leaderboard and shot 5-over par.
The Cowgirls will make their next appearance at the Big12 Championship in Dallas, Texas on April 20-22.
