Cowgirl Basketball Adds Two Transfers

STILLWATER – Oklahoma State's women's basketball team has added a pair of transfers in Olivia and Vivian Gray, who have both signed financial aid agreements it was announced today by Cowgirl head coach Jim Littell.
"Family is at the forefront for both Olivia and Vivian and that is something that was very appealing to us," Littell said. "We place an emphasis on family and feel that both of these young ladies fall in line with what Cowgirl basketball stands for and we are thrilled they chose to join our program."
The sisters from Argyle, Texas spent last season at Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado where Olivia was a redshirt freshman and Vivian competed as a true freshman.
Olivia played in 27 games for the Skyhawks, averaging 16.6 minutes per contest. The 5-8 guard averaged 1.6 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.0 assists per game and recorded 17 steals while helping FLC to a 20-9 mark.
At the high school level, Olivia was a four-year starter for Argyle High, competing for a pair of state title teams as a junior and senior. She earned first-team all-district honors and was a second-team all-area selection for the Eagles.
The younger Gray was a member of three consecutive state title squads at Argyle and was the Texas Class 4A Player of the Year on two occasions. The 6-1 forward averaged 22.6 points, 8.8 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 2.2 steals per game as a senior and 22.1 points and 7.6 rebounds and 3.2 assists per contest as a junior. For her high school career, Gray scored 2,893 points.
Gray received a five-star rating and was tabbed as the No. 45 recruit in the country in the ESPN HoopGurlz Rankings in 2017.
During her freshman campaign at FLC, Gray led the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference in scoring at 18.5 points per game. She also averaged 7.8 rebounds and 1.9 blocks per game on her way to earning first-team all-conference recognition as well as RMAC freshman of the year honors.
