Carroll Earns Second Career All-Big 12 Accolade

STILLWATER – Just hours after helping lead the Cowboys to a sweep of Kansas, Oklahoma State senior guard Jeffrey Carroll was named to the Phillips 66 All-Big 12 Conference third team.
This is Carroll's second career All-Big 12 honor after earning second-team recognition as a junior. He ranks 12th in the league in scoring with 15.1 points per game and 11th in rebounding at 5.9 boards per game.
The Rowlett, Texas native ranks 21st in school history with 1,333 career points, but is one of just 14 Cowboys to also rank in the top 25 in career rebounding as well. He will finish his OSU career in the top-10 in 3-pointers attempted and made, and his 542 career boards rank 24th among all Cowboys.
Carroll vaulted to the top of opponent scouting reports 2017-18, but didn't disappoint. He notched seven 20-point performances and joined teammate and fellow senior Mitchell Solomon as the first Cowboys to win in every conference road venue since 1954.
Kansas' Devonte Graham was named the league's Player of the Year, while Jayhawk head coach Bill Self and Texas Tech's Chris Beard tied for Coach of the Year honors.
The Cowboys earned the No. 8 seed in the upcoming Big 12 Championship in Kansas City, Missouri, and will face No. 9 seed Oklahoma in the opening round. Tipoff is slated for 6 p.m. Wednesday.
