- TCU pulled away in the second half to secure the victory. The Horned Frogs went on a 14-2 run that spanned 2:43. It started at the 7:59 mark of the second half and ended with 4:53 remaining. After the run was over, TCU led 79-59.
- TCU defeated OSU for the sixth time in program history, including the third time in Fort Worth. OSU still leads the all-time series 25-6.
- This is only the second time OSU has given up 90 or more in a Big 12 game this season.
- With his eight-rebound performance, Jeffrey Carroll moves up to No. 24 in OSU career rebounds. He is now one of 14 players to be top-25 in career scoring and rebounding in OSU history. He is one of eight players to accomplish the feat while being listed at 6-6 or under.
- Jeffrey Carroll moved into sole possession of No. 23 in the career-scoring list in OSU history. His eight-point performance broke the tie at No. 23 in school history. He was tied with Victor Williams.
- Kendall Smith has now scored in double figures in eight straight appearances. Smith scored 21 points tonight. It was his 16th game with 10 or more points this season. Over the past eight games he has played in, Smith is averaging 17.5 points
- Thomas Dziagwa missed his first career free throw. Coming into tonight's game, the sophomore guard was 21-for-21 from the charity stripe.
- OSU has extended its 3-point streak to 574 games in a row. The Cowboys have made a 3-pointer in every game they've played since Jan. 13, 2001.
