Hudd Moves on to Consolation Final at Dickie V Classic

SARASOTA, Fla. – Oklahoma State freshman Emile Hudd recorded two singles wins on Saturday at the Dick Vitale Intercollegiate Clay Court Classic to move on to the consolation final, which will take place Sunday at the Lakewood Ranch Fitness Center.
Hudd defeated David Mizrahi of Louisville, 7-5, 6-2, in the quarterfinal and Vuk Budic of Illinois, 6-3, 7-5, in the semifinal.
Hudd lost his first-round match Friday, which sent him to the consolation bracket.
In doubles play, the pair of Hudd and sophomore Brady Draheim fell in the quarterfinal round to Notre Dame's William Howells and Axel Nefve, 8-3.
