Vocel Falls in the Norman Open Singles Final

NORMAN, Okla. – Oklahoma State sophomore Matej Vocel fell in the Norman Open singles final to Gijs Brouwer of the Netherlands, 6-3, 6-2, on Sunday at the Headington Tennis Center.
Vocel recorded four victories since Tuesday to reach the tournament championship. Vocel also reached the tournament's doubles final with his partner Dominik Kellovsky of the Czech Republic.
The Cowboys are back in action at the USTA Futures 24 tournament in Waco, Texas, beginning Nov. 24, which will be the final tournament of the fall season.
