Vocel Moves on to Doubles Final, Singles Semifinal at Norman Open

NORMAN, Okla. – Cowboy tennis sophomore Matej Vocel recorded a win in doubles and singles play on Friday at the Headington Tennis Center and will move on to the doubles final and singles semifinal of the Norman Open.
Vocel defeated Andrew Watson of Great Britain, 6-3, 5-7, 6-4, in singles play, and partnered with Dominik Kellovsky to defeat David Fox and Mark Whitehouse of Great Britain in doubles, 6-3, 6-3.
Vocel will face his doubles partner, Kellovsky, in the singles semifinal Saturday at 10 a.m.
Kellovsky and Vocel will face the Gijs Brouwer (Netherlands) and Justin Butsch (USA) in the doubles final Saturday after singles play.
