Vocel Moves on in Singles and Doubles at Norman Open

NORMAN, Okla. – Oklahoma State sophomore Matej Vocel recorded a victory in singles and doubles play Thursday at the Norman Open held at the Headington Tennis Center.
Vocel defeated Ecuador's Diego Hidalgo, 6-3, 6-2, in singles and partnered with Dominik Kellovsky to defeat the USA's Jenson Brooksby and Henry Craig, 3-6, 6-0, 11-9, in doubles.
Vocel will face Great Britain's Andre Watson in the singles quarterfinal round Friday morning at 10 a.m. Vocel and Kellovsky will face David Fox and Mark Whitehouse of Great Britain in the doubles semifinals.
