Tybar Qualifies for Main Draw at the Norman Open

NORMAN, Okla. – Oklahoma State sophomore Maxim Tybar defeated Serbia's Uros Petronijevic, 1-6, 6-3, 6-4, in the third round of the qualifying draw on Tuesday at the Norman Open. With the win, he qualifies for the main draw, which gets underway tomorrow.

Sophomore Matej Vocel is already in the singles main draw and will compete Wednesday as well.

In doubles play, the OSU pair of Artur Dubinski and Mathieu Scaglia fell to Jenson Brooksby and Henry Craig (USA), 6-4, 6-4.

Vocel partnered with Dominik Kellovsky of the Czech Republic to defeat the pair of Jacob Dunbar (USA) and Samuel Philp (Canada), 6-2, 7-5, 10-4.
