Vocel Falls in F28B Round of 16

WACO, Texas – Oklahoma State sophomore Matej Vocel fell to Evan Zhu (USA), 6-2, 6-1, in the round of 16 at the USA Futures F28B tournament on Thursday at the Waco Regional Tennis & Fitness club.
Vocel and Zhu were supposed to compete Wednesday, but the match was postponed until Thursday due to rain.
Vocel defeated Sven Lah (Slovenia) 4-2 (retired), Tuesday to advance to the main draw round of 16.
The Cowboys are back in action next week in Birmingham, Ala., for the USA Futures F29 beginning Oct. 29.
