Cowgirl Golf Rallies On Day Two Of Stanford Intercollegiate

PALO ALTO, Calif. - The Oklahoma State women's golf team wrapped up their second day of play at the Stanford Intercollegiate at the Stanford Golf Course on Saturday.
The team went 8-over 290, which is a significant improvement from yesterday's 24-over 308. The Cowgirls in 17th place with 18 holes to play. No. 3 Southern California continues to lead the field at 10-under 558. UCLA's Mariel Galdino is in sole possession of first place at 9-under 133.
Senior Chih-Min Chen lead the Cowgirls by shooting 2-under 69 with a bogey-free back nine. The senior will go into the final day of the tournament tied for 56th at 7-over 149.
Sophomore Stephanie Astrup leads the Cowgirls on the leaderboard in a tie for 40th place after shooting even par today.
Michelle Forsland will start the final day of the tournament in 50th place while Emma Whitaker will start in 79th place.
The Cowgirls will begin the final round of the Stanford Intercollegiate at 10:30 a.m. Central. Golfstat.com will have the live scoring.
