Pair of OSU Doubles Teams Reach ITA Central Regional Quarterfinals

TULSA, Okla. – The Oklahoma State tandems of Artur Dubinski and Matej Vocel as well as Emile Hudd and Maxim Tybar advanced to the ITA Central Regional Quarterfinals after recording two victories apiece on Friday at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center.
Dubinski and Tybar took down Majed Kilani and Kody Pearson of Tulsa, 8-2, in the round of 32. In the following round, the pair bested Bedlam rival Mason Beilar and Matt Rodriguez of Oklahoma, 8-4.
Hudd and Tybar defeated Jose and Pedro Alonso of Arkansas, 8-6, then Minnesota's Marino Alpeza and Stefan Milicevic, 8-2.
Brady Draheim and Mathieu Scaglia fell to Creighton's Stratton Brown and Mac Meuse, 8-6, in the round of 32.
In singles play, three Cowboys recorded victories and will move on to the ITA Central Regional round of 16.
Dubinski defeated Arkansas' Adam Sanjurjo, 6-2, 6-4, while Vocel beat Nebraska's Micah Klousia, 6-3, 6-2. Tybar beat Marius Frosa of Wichita State, 6-2, 4-6, 6-4.
Sophomore Luke Hammond fell to Minnesota's Stefan Milicevic, 7-6, 6-3. Fellow sophomore Draheim lost to Will Davies of Iowa, 7-6, 6-4.
