STILLWATER – Toughness is defined as the state of being strong enough to withstand adverse conditions or rough handling, and it can come from a multitude of different places.
For example, it can come from Midwest City, Oklahoma or it can come from Brooklyn, New York, and it is certainly the key ingredient to both Cowboy football and basketball.
Mike Gundy and new OSU basketball coach Mike Boynton certainly come from different backgrounds, but they both share a common belief in toughness and the Cowboy Culture.
