Forte Reflects On A Record-Setting Cowboy Career

STILLWATER - All you need to know about Phil Forte III can be summed up in one quote.
"If everybody worked as hard as I did I wouldn't have a chance to play," Forte said, reflecting back on his storied career that began as an undersized freshman guard and ended as the 3-point king of Oklahoma State basketball.
Forte earn the reputation as the hardest working player in college hoops thanks to his famous work ethic. On top of being a leader in his standard team practices, Forte made 600 3-pointers on his own each day.
Not only did he overcome his height disadvantage to become an All-Big 12 Conference player, Forte ended his career ranked sixth in OSU history with 1,746 points. His 95.5 percent clip from the free throw line made him the NCAA Statistical Champion for 2016-17.
